Paint, primer, and seam sealer can all be removed without risking damage to

antique or classic auto sheet metal.  Since soda is 100% water soluble it can be washed away to prevent any of the contamination of new paint that is associated with acid dips, chemical strippers or hard blast media.

Weather stains, rust stains, efflorescence

and graffitti can be cleaned from masonry with out damaging the underlying material.  Smoke and soot can be cleaned from in and  around fire places.  Soda blasting also works well for cleaning mortar joints prior to re-pointing.

Old adhesive residue, lacquer, shellac, varnish and paint can be removed from antiques prior to restoration with out the fear of damaging the original piece.  Years and years of nasty coatings can be removed and leave the surface as it was the day it was new.
